A friend our of mine & dads (Wilbur R.) 55 Chevy was rearended on 10-12-07.He was making a left hand turn into his own driveway on Rt 543 when he was rear-ended by a Toyota 4Runner that didn't apparently see him.The 55 caught fire immediately as did the Toyota.The 55 was pushed across into on-coming traffic and was hit in the front by a Jeep.Wilbur was able to climb out his drivers side door window to avoid being burned by the flames.His drivers door was jambed shut!Wilbur had just bought this 55 hardtop only 2 weeks ago! He was planning on driving it to the LOWES Car Cruise in Abingdon that night.
